Spring To Your Senses!

Spring is an excellent time to heighten your senses utilizing specific areas of the Bagua.
For instance, you can work with your hearing by temporarily placing a representation of moving water in your Career area. Place it with the strong intention to improve your hearing. Another effective cure would be to hang a chime here.
After placing your enhancement, it’s helpful to anchor your intention by writing out a positive statement such as “I hear everything I need to hear” or “I am receptive and blessed by the sounds in my life.”
Vision relates to Fame and can be heightened in a similar way. Place a flickering candle or something that represents vision in this area. You can also use an affirmation such as “I see clearly at all times” or one targeted at your specific vision problem.
With regard to taste and smell, each area of the Bagua relates to a distinct taste and scent. You can simplify the enhancement process by adjusting the Center of your home. One way is to place common spices or other items that represent different scents and tastes in either an open or closed container in that area. Usually, you can use something you already have on hand.
Examples for taste could be candy or sugar for sweet, a lemon for sour, raw cacao beans for bitter, cinnamon for spicy, and sea salt for salty flavors. For scent, you can diffuse essential oils, or place fragrant flowers or herbs in the Center.
When we think of touch, hands come to mind. They are related to the Knowledge area. However, this is not the only area related to touch. Actually our entire body is constantly engaged in the sense of touch, so you can adjust the Center by hanging a large round multi-faceted leaded crystal in this area. If you have one here already, endow it with your intention to expand your sense of touch by visualizing energy flowing out from it and touching each area of the bagua and your entire body. Another alternative is to go to the area of the Bagua related to a specific body part. An example would be enhancing the Family area if you experience numbness or lack of sensation in a toe.
Finally, if springtime triggers allergies for you, balance your Helpful People area. First clear the area of clutter. Then place something there that represents freedom from allergies. Perhaps a healthy picture or collage depicting yourself surrounded by whatever airborne allergens cause problems for you (i.e. plants, cats, dust, etc.).
Next month I will answer Feng Shui Questions & Answers.
Please send your questions to me no later than April 25th
and I will include them in next month’s newsletter.
May the spring bring you sensational awakenings!
