January 2009 Greetings & Happy New Year! 2008 was the beginning of a new cycle. In 2009, we have more of a sense of where we’re going both individually and as a nation. To benefit most from this year, pay attention to the positive universal planetary themes for 2009, which are relationship, balance, hard work, and spirituality. This month in particular is a wonderful time to reach out and connect socially. It’s also a great time to begin any clearing processes that you’ve been thinking of. This could include starting a detox program or other health regimen, beginning a meditation practice, or starting therapy. This period is also good for beginning a no-hold’s barred clutter-clearing process* and other releasing activities. This is the time to handle anything you’ve been putting off--for example, like scheduling a physical checkup or a talk with your boss. On January 11th (9:44 a.m. MST) Mercury will go retrograde. Mercury retrograde has gotten a bad rap, but it’s actually an excellent time to recommit to the accomplishment of any goals from the past that you didn't complete, to tie up loose ends, and to recommit to your spiritual practice. Feng Shui-wise, the wisdom you will probably need to tap into in order to complete past goals and make lasting changes, can be found by taking a look at the Knowledge area of your home and other spaces that you occupy. First, if needed, clean the area. Then notice what’s there and what it’s trying to “tell” you. Other simple things that you can do to
Dedicate this month to completing anything important from the past and to anything that will enhance your quality of life. Do this, and you will have taken the first step toward creating a positive year in 2009. Please Note: To your knowledge & personal growth! *If this is the time for you to handle your clutter once and for all, see details about the Feng Shui For Clutterbugs class beginning on Monday, February 2nd. 2009 CLASSES: Creating Wealth with Feng Shui Feng Shui In Depth To Arrange For An On-Site Consultation For Your Home or Business, contact Suzanne Metzger (719) 260-7207 |
