Helpful People: Your Connection to a Successful Life

Helpful People is the area of the Bagua related to Heaven. It represents both seen and unseen beings, along with your ongoing connection to a higher power. When this area needs correction, it may seem like little imps are invading your life. When it’s working, there’s a flow. You receive the right kind of help exactly when you need it–either in the form of a person or an idea.

In order to attract helpful people into your life, you must be one yourself. To be one, be a good listener and alert to what others really need from you. (Not what you think they need.) It is not about being a pushover, excessively attentive to others, or an over zealous volunteer.

It’s no surprise that the Helpful People area is closely connected to the Wealth Area. Both areas have to do with giving and receiving. Whenever either of these areas is out of balance, it’s likely that the other is too.

This area is also connected to your head, brain, and to the father–or the head of your household. It’s the father-figure who directs the activities and energy of the family. It’s subtle, but your brain, and its neural-connections to your body, directs your body to perform your chosen actions. Pay attention to this area, if you have suffered brain trauma of any kind.

Often a garage occupies this space. Even though this area also relates to travel, cars coming and going constantly can severely over-energize this area. To soften this effect, avoid rushing as you drive in and out. Treat leaving and arriving as a sacred ritual honoring the transition between your private sanctuary and the outer world.

Some Ways To Adjust the Helpful People Area

  1. Clear any clutter found here
  2. Place artwork depicting actual helpful people here. This can include friends, family, or strangers. Pictures of angels, guides, and power animals are also appropriate here.
  3. Hang travel posters—especially of places you wish to visit
  4. Add features made of metal, stone, or natural crystals

Finally, enhance your entrance,

even if it’s not in Helpful People.

May you have an abundance of Helpful People in your life!
